Ulster Museum

The Ulster Museum combines culture and history with panache and is home to exquisite collections of art, history and natural sciences. This beautifully transformed landmark is versatile for any occasion.

ATRIUM       

This spectacular contemporary space spans four stories and is surrounded by some of the most iconic pieces from the national collection. A beautiful, sophisticated space, it offers a blank canvas on which to add the colour and detail of your event.

Availability: Tuesday to Sunday from 5.00pm onwards, after the museum closes to the public, or at any time on Mondays.

Capacity: 160 - 200 depending on layout

BELFAST ROOM       

One of the original galleries of the museum which opened in 1929, this beautiful space has been brought back to its former glory. A grand yet intimate setting, the Belfast Room is ideal for smaller events, or as a breakout space alongside hire of our Lecture Theatre.

Capacity: 30 - 100 depending on layout

LECTURE THEATRE       

Available for corporate hire, this state of the art facility is located on the ground floor adjacent to the Atrium and Belfast Room. In addition to its tiered seating and stage area, it has a bespoke sound system and excellent acoustics. This multi-functional space offers professional conference facilities in a unique setting.

WOW Gallery       

The Window on Our World Gallery (or WOW Gallery) showcases the beauty, breadth and diversity of the collections displayed in the Ulster Museum. A central column running through 4 floors of the museum, it makes a conversation worthy location for a drinks reception or networking event. Adjoining the Atrium, it is perfectly situated to welcoming your guests for pre-dinner drinks.
